Forum BD is an all in one community forum for Bangladesh. News, jobs, education, technology, travel, health, food, buy and sell, and everyday life all live here in one place, in Bangla, English or Banglish.
Do I need an account?
You can read everything without an account. To post a thread, reply, vote, send a private message or earn reputation, you need a free account.
How do I create an account?
Click Sign in at the top right, then register with your email or continue with Google. Confirm your email and you are in.
What is reputation?
Reputation is a score that grows when your threads and replies get upvotes, and when your answer is accepted as the solution. It is the simplest signal of who is consistently helpful.
What are badges?
Badges are awarded automatically for milestones such as your first thread, your first accepted answer, and steady contribution over time. You can see them on your profile.
How do I mark an answer as solved?
If you started the thread, open the reply that solved your problem and choose Accept answer. The thread is then marked solved and the author earns reputation.
Can I edit or delete my post?
You can edit your own thread or reply for a short window after posting. After that the content stays for the record, since other members may have replied to it. Ask a moderator if something must be removed.
How do I format my posts?
The editor supports Markdown and BBCode, including bold, italics, quotes, code blocks, lists, images, video embeds and emojis. Use the toolbar buttons if you prefer not to type the tags.
How do private messages work?
Open any profile and press Message. Conversations are private between the two of you, and delivery is real time.
Why can I not post yet?
New accounts have light limits to slow down spam. If you hit a limit, wait a little and try again. If you believe it is a mistake, contact a moderator.
How do I report something?
Use the report option on the thread or reply, or message a moderator directly. Please include a short explanation.
Who runs Forum BD?
Forum BD was founded by Tazim Hossen and is run with a small team of volunteer moderators.
