1. Be respectful
Disagree with ideas, never attack the person. No insults, harassment, threats, or hate speech based on religion, ethnicity, gender, region, politics or profession.
2. Post in the right category
Pick the category that fits your topic and write a clear, specific title. Moderators may move or rename threads for clarity.
3. Search before you post
Check whether your question already has an answer. Duplicate threads may be merged or closed with a link to the original.
4. No spam or self promotion
No referral links, unsolicited advertising, repeated link drops, or mass messaging. Sharing your own work is fine when it genuinely answers the discussion.
5. Buy and sell responsibly
Listings must be honest, with a clear price and condition. Forum BD is not a party to any deal and cannot recover your money. Never pay in advance to a stranger.
6. Protect privacy
Do not post anyone's phone number, address, NID, financial details, screenshots of private chats, or photos of people without their consent.
7. Keep it legal and safe
No piracy, hacking or account selling, no drugs, weapons or illegal services, no adult content, no gore, and no content that endangers a minor.
8. No misinformation
Share sources for news and health claims. Deliberately spreading false or dangerous information will be removed.
9. One account per person
Alt accounts used to evade bans, farm reputation or manipulate votes will be removed along with the main account.
10. Vote honestly
Upvote what is helpful and downvote what is not. Vote rings, self voting through alts, and revenge downvoting are not allowed.
11. Language
Bangla, English and Banglish are all welcome. Write in a way others can read, and avoid all caps.
12. Moderation
Moderators may edit, lock, move or remove content, and may warn, mute or ban accounts. If you disagree with an action, message a moderator calmly. Abusing the report system is itself a violation.
Consequences: first a warning, then a temporary mute, then a temporary ban, then a permanent ban. Serious violations such as scams, doxxing or threats can lead to an immediate permanent ban.
